Guy takes his modified C6 Z06 to have some additional mods put in. A few days after it's complete and two days before he picks it up, they notify him that it's been in a minor fender bender while the mechanic was out joyriding in it. Definition of minor being that the front end is more or less missing, one of the wheels is off, with the suspension and brakes still attached, etc etc.....

Owner of the shop says he's "not a rich man" and can't afford to pay for the damages.....but owns 6 cars himself, including a Z06 with a C5R motor in it.

Pay up ****o.

shop owner says yes since they often return cars back to their owners with 500 extra miles.

employee takes it out and is taking his daughter to school when he gets into an accident.



shop owner doesn't want to pay.

shop owner is getting flamed on the board.

?? Why should the owner's insurance have to pay for someone else's criminal activity? And WTF does Chevrolet have to do with ANYTHING, other than originally manufacturing the car 4 years ago?

The business must have some sort of insurance for ****ing up people cars.

He could have serviced his car at any bloody GM dealership and this would probably have never happened.

If he went somewhere to save money, what a cheap bastard.

The car was not getting service, it was getting performance parts installed/tuned, and the like.
