The Corvette above would make for a great new KITT for several reasons.
just wait until Ford starts selling KITT edition mustangs

Ladies and gentlemen,, we are gathered here today in remembrance to our beloved classic, and highly known TV vehicle,,,,KITT. T'was not so long ago when we could all see him on the TV set Turbo Boostin, and super Pursuitin, across our screens,,, just knowing that he was virtually unstoppable. Such a classic icon of the show,,, an instant recognizable celebrity status which set it apart from all other TV cars of the period. We now commit the body of our favorite beloved TV character to the dead storage room. Dash's to Dash's,,,, rust to rust,,,,forever will he be remembered to all of us,,,,, who spend the bucks,,,,(to get the box sets) LOL!!!!!

That 'Stang looks more like the last Batmobile. Shoulda held out for the Camaro or even the Charger. Too bad Pontiac hasn't seen fit to follow up with a tribute model of its own. Embarrassment, I suppose after the turbo's belching chicken.
