I dont know what you guys are smoking.... I though the new show was good. You guys think the old series was had emmy award winning acting? or Dreamworks style special effects?

The show crap when I was a kid, but when we are kids we have lower standards and we all remember enjoyingthe crap out of it.
Honestly I dont think they did a bad job, they could have gotten an english guy to do KITT instead of Val Kilmer.

It would have been interesting if they got James Earl Jones
I can live with Kitt being a Mustang now. Boy, you can hear that supercharger whine on that GT500 Stang.

I found the show kind of boring (I can get DirecTV here) last night. The car itself ain't half bad, but it doesn't have the spice that the original show had, a.k.a. (Michael: "Kitt, I'm getting my butt kicked." Kitt: "I'm on my way Michael")

Those on the fence about the new Knight Rider television show need look no further than these shots of the newly upgraded KITT from Popular Mechanics shot at Comic-Con 2008. At a panel discussion in front of Knight Rider fanboys-girls they showed video of KITT employing Turbo Boost (before a very long press conference where the actor that plays Mike Tracer admitted he drives a supercharged Bullitt). The video apparently also featured the actors getting into a truck version of KITT — a KITTchero if you will.
