Pininfarina Sintesi to debut at Geneva
Pininfarina will unveil its newest concept vehicle, named Sintesi, at the Geneva motor show in March. The Italian design house and coachbuilder released a sketch of the vehicle.
Pininfarina says the Sintesi--"sintesi" is Italian for summary--is a combination of sportiness and functionality. The new concept draws on Pininfarina's previous two concepts--the Birdcage 75th sports car and Nido small car.
Details of the Sintesi are being revealed gradually over the five weeks prior to the Geneva show. To see the information, go to www.sintesi.pininfarina.com
Lowie Vermeersch, director of the Pininfarina's design department, headed the Sintesi development team.
The Birdcage 75th was revealed by Pininfarina at the 2005 Geneva show, and was named best concept of the show by AutoWeek.

Way to rehash something 3 years old. It'd be like Microsoft bringing XP as their new concept.

I never quite understood all these Italian design studios. Not like they ever build their own vehicle. Why bother showing off a concept when no one is backing up your concepts? So you're a coachbuilder that never builds your own branded vehicles. At least with companies like Fisker they brand their own cars.
