When I was at lil Talledega a young guy had brought a new Si out and the group that watched him was pretty impressed with how it ran on the track, keeping pace and at some points beating the Acura RSX Type S there.

Congrats! The exhaust note is fairly decent on it stock so I wouldn't worry about it.
