I actually work for VW at Stevens Creek in San Jose and when I found out it was a Chrysler I was like WTF but it only shares the chassis. Engine, suspension, steering, breaks, and others are all VW. The only thing it shares with the Chrysler is the chassis, roof and two doors. Don't ask me why....

Styling and quality aside, I think Chrysler is still the leader when it comes to minivan innovations. For VW its an easy way to get back into the market, but I totally think they missed an awesome opportunity to reinvent themselves and maybe the entire minivan market. Now it will probably be just another minivan.
Interesting, but nothing innovative or breathtaking.
It will get lost (really lost) in the sea of minivans between American standards such as the Town & Country and Japanese standars such as the Odyssey...
