were there a lot of GS commercials? The one with the GS doing doughnuts and doing those other crazy maneuvers. Heh, just glad to see our car on commercials, hopefully we'll see more of our cars on the road

^ No such thing as local ads for the Super Bowl, especially at $2.7m per 30 sec spot. You were prolly taking a beer or potty break . I saw the 'Etiquette' 3GS ad at least twice, told my 5 yr old son - look there's Daddy's cars doing doughnuts...

Actually there are local ads during the big game - just like any other time. Not a single GS ad in my region.

I GUARANTEE you there is local commercial during super bowl, because i saw it with my own eyes that some local lawyer in Phoenix was advertising for his firm. Unless he wants national attention at close to 3 mil for 30sec. that thing has to be local and it's one of the worst commercial I've seen

local home builder (fulton homes) also advertised on FOX during superbowl. Granted, i did not watch this in HD, but i doubt that'll make a difference.

again, I saw a whole bunch of Toyota and Ford commercial and no Lexus.. WTF!

And I saw loads of local ads.

The GS ad ran on the Chicago Fox station. I saw it once or twice.

I don't recall if it had the usual "visit your Chicago area Lexus dealer" tag at the end of it.
