Mustang GT, G35, or RX8
Got my income tax check! Looking to get in a coupe. 19k is my limit. I have test driven all of them.
I like the mustage for the power. It handles like a wild bull.
stang
The G35 is a cruiser and looks great. It handles good and feels good.
king koopa
Finally the RX8. Slow! . but it handles, looks great and cheap.

Help me out. Looking for pros, cons, rumors ect... All suggestions are welcome. Thanks

G35........unless you are enamored with the Mustang's looks.
The RX8 is a superb handler, but lacks low-end torque, and the engine uses lots of both gas and oil. The lack of B-pillars for the two small rear doors will also probably invite rattles, squeaks, and leaks.

I'm not sure exactly how much you want to spend, but it looks like it's around $18k. There are a few other choices you might consider. I was actually looking in this price range myself a few years ago and a few cars other cars on my list were:
1) C5 Corvette-This car is still a beast, looks great, handles great and they're not too expensive to maintain or insure surprisingly. On a whole 'nother level from the 'Stang
2) Last-gen Porsche Boxster-Probably going to cost you a lot to maintain but it's supposedly one of the best handling cars in the world, plus the car hasn't changed much visually since it was introduced over 10 years ago so you won't be driving in something that looks dated
3) Last-gen Jag XKR Coupe, this car looks incredible and the interior is great too. It's also pretty fast with the supercharged engine, although you might worry about reliability. It's a unique car that you don't see every day
4) 350Z-Not as rare as the previous 3 cars but the aftermarket is huge and it's fast and handles well
5) Last gen M3-Are they going for ~$20k now? I'm not sure, and I would be afraid of repair bills, but this car was one of my favorites in high school. I'd take one in Laguna Seca blue or Puke Yellow

I have driven a 03 G35 sedan for five years, I love this car. The power, the handling, the engine roar, the steering feel, the sportiness feeling are all so good. The coupe even has the look, too. Keep the paint and interior nice and I am sure you would love it forever.

Amazingly, the Mazda interior is the best out the 3. I would have to go with the G35 though. I am a fan of the current Mustang. The RX-8 is cool too.
All are good coupes, with ups and downs.
