Well the 'dark red' "wood" I saw in a last gen ES looked very fake even if it was real. I didn't like it.

The best wood trim I ever saw was the walnut in my '94 Legend sedan. Beautiful.

That's been my experience too. They just seem very 'solid' and tight.

It WAS real. Bet the monthly rent on it.

Do you think it was nicer than the matte-wood in the Acura RL and the Infiniti M35/45? Those two cars get my prize for the current best wood trim.
