Default Lexus Early Termination of Lease?? Penalty?

Here is the situation.
My 2007 Escalade is getting Lemon Lawed buyback and I have cash coming back to me.
I am definately getting a LX570. Normally, I purchase my vehicle,s and this is my first lease.

Does Lexus allow you to do an early termination without a penality.
For example, if I did a 2 year lease and then decided to get a new car after 1 year and 8 months.
Will they allow a "non-penality termination of the lease"?.... or will they simply add the missed payments into the new lease payment on the new car I decide to lease?

Thanks,
UZY

Your best bet is to contact Lexus Financial Services at 1-800-286-0653

you will have to pay the full amount of the lease to break it. so basically, you lease the whole term. that's the penalty. and i highly doubt they would "add your payment" to the new lease. call them to check, i asked before

btw, it depends on customers, sometimes 6 months before end of lease they give out encore program so you can return the car 6 months early if you lease / finance another lexus

Did you own or lease the Escalade? The reason I ask is that I have never heard of a lemon law buyback on a leased vehicle. That is because a leased vehicle, techincally, is not owned...it is rented (if, in fact, lemon laws DO apply, then pardon my ignorance...I'll stand corrected).

I take it the reason you want an LX instead of another Escalade is just disgust with problems on a vehicle that expensive?

If you do go with a lease, see if you can deduct any of the lease payments off your Federal taxes. You can legally do so if the vehicle was used in some forms of buisness. You also would have to see if early-termination penalties qualified.

it sounds like the Escalade is a purchase, seeing as how his next Lexus will be his first lease.

I'd suggest calling a local dealer and asking if they will fax you a blank form of lease agreement. It would have to be in there.

If you're going from one Lexus lease to another I'd be almost sure you could do it early. But if you mean just generically can you break a lease, to for example go lease another brand, then most likely fuggedaboutit.
