get one while they last! the production of the s2000 is suppose to end soon (09 or 10). I like s2000s, though i just fit it in with a slight snug feel. go for one, nothing wrong with a little nice honda lol.

s2000 is one nice car. In my opinion one of the nicest looking sports cars to come out of Japan. I wouldn't mind having one, but personally I like the older ones more, like 2001-2003 or whenever they made the first style without the body upgrade with the new bumpers, lights and whatnot.

S2K's are great fun. Excellent handling, easy to slide and catch the rear end, smooth gearbox, 9k redline AP1, AP2 has more compliant suspension.
The bad: not a lot of torque, a bit cramped interior with little storage space, and a little loud inside (even with soft top up). As long as you know what to expect and can accept these shortcomings, I say
.
Jewcano - I don't even think of the S2K in "styling" terms. It's a fun, drivers car that really communicates the road, and is much the opposite of a typical Lexus.

S2000s are awesome cars. Can't really compare it to the SC400. It'll run around it in circles when it comes to performance. Then again, it's not expected for the S2000 to have an interior like the Lexus.
I love the lightweight feel of the car. It's so tossable and agile. Just drive one and then hop back into your SC400

^I understand, it's not a bad car by any means, it's just become like the Ipod/Iphone, everyone has to have one or get one. People were content with what they had before, and once it became popular everyone jumped on that bandwagon. Thats what I was trying to get across.

friend had one, he said if you feel like filling up the take twice a week to go for it. Even though its a 4 banger you are gonna want to hear that v-tec kick in. 2jz motor in a s2k would be nuts too.

I wouldn't replace my Lexus for a S2000 by any means. I know someone who had it as a daily driver and doesn't seem like a logical choice, especially here where it snows. It'll be my weekend car, just to toss around. I've never heard of a Lexus owner talking about replacing their Lexus for a S2000. Lexus and S2000...it's like on complete opposite end of the spectrum.
About the S2000 with 2JZGTE swap....why? Why add all that weight in the front of a perfectly balanced car?
