Out of the box I'd say a Z06 Mike..

but lately I've been dreaming of building a crazy turbo SC300.

regarding the Sc300.
I'm almost 30 and I've been thinking about selling the SC430 and getting a Cayman S. My wife wants a Mini Cooper S for the weekends and a Lexus SUV for hauling around stuff

Get one of these and you won't have to "practice" any more.

Great advice. Had my first home at 24. THEN I got my Acura Legend Coupe.

Wow many many choices, by the way I am also 30 year old.

My choices would be:

Honda Accord sedan
BMW 3-series sedan
Infiniti G35 sedan
Lexus IS sedan
Acura TL sedan
Audi A4/S4/RS4 sedan
Mercedes-Benz C-class sedan

Actually anything you prefer and feel comfortable driving. I personally wouldn't drive S-class or LS even if I have the money. And I probably wouldn't buy Fit or Civic at this age.

Mike,

Not sure what your budget is but I was sorta in this same boat not too long ago.. Bought the first house at 30 got rid of my GS400 so I would have a small mortgage then got married and started saving some money. But after a few good pay increases at work I was feeling the itch for something a bit sporty even thou my wife had just got pregnant I went out one Saturday (Wifey wasn't pleased - But she came on board after driving it) and bought a G35 Coupe to help me through my 30's and when my son Logan came along the G35 worked for about 2 years then now I am back in the Lexus family with the LS.

So long story short here are my picks:

G37
Cayman
Boxster
Vette
335i
350Z
WRX

With all honesty I am having a blast driving this LS430 so forget all of the above and get a good used 2004-2006 LS430 UL. Whatever you get please post some pics for us guys!!

Ken

Hey Mike,

I'm in the same boat as you at this point in life. Really, If you like Macking Chicks - I would say having a Nice house tops any car except maybe a Lambo- When I got my first house - I had more chicks than I ever had (about 10 at one time). To answer your question since I'm asking myself the same question : I would say an M3 or NSX.. Personally - I'm leaning towards an M3.

The Smart-for-Two, for its dimunitive size, is not particularly economical to either buy or operate....and it uses premium gas. (See my recent review). There are better....and more economical.....values out there among small cars. It also has sub-standard handling/stability and powertrain refinement. And, of course, despite the good safety features for its size, I still wouldn't want to have a major accident in one.
