new Chargers cost 20k so a free mustang or 350Z with expensive tires and a drinking habit will probably cost about the same, they did mention that the Cobra had 550hp after all the illegal mods where removed, doubt they where illegal but the cops don't need excess they just need modified sleepers and I would bet money that cops are not the best drivers, straight line not turns.

Just think about all the extra tickets that need to be written to justify the cars they confiscate

I think this also creates an incentive for them to bust nicer modified vehicles over time. They wouldn't take a pos FWD Civic thats for sure

First of all, the cop in the video was a pure A$$! HE had the persona of what we have come to hate in cops! Now here is the problem I have...I can totally see that cop in that car pulling up to a red light and start instigating a street race. I understand it's my fault it I bite but I can see some dirty tactics being used here. THere will be many tickets brought to court with the ticketed driver attempting to prove the officer was at fault also.

true, but i dont know, if the cops pull up acting like a jackass revving his engine and all that i would be tempted to go for it, most anyone would. alot of dirty tricks are gonna be used, not that they dont have dirty tricks now.
