As far as your post goes, it's clear that either;
1) You are being sarcastic
or
2) You don't know who Tiff Needell is

No idea who he is, but I hope that this little slidefest isn't his best driving.

most video track reviews so far of the lexus ISF have claimed that it loves to oversteer. that is what tiff was pointing out in the review. the car loves to oversteer so he needs to offset it by drifting

Tiff's a pretty decent driver:

I watched the program on Monday night and the IS-F feature was stuck at the end. It seemed a bit short to me - almost as if it had to be heavily edited to fit in this week's program.

one thing that is funny in the video, Tiff having a "blast" with the paddle shifter. I thought with the IS-F we wouldn't have a problem with the computer telling us when to shift and stuff like that.

DSG is different the SMG (hydraulic manual transmission) and automatics (that use a torque converter).

DSG uses a 2 standard manual clutches. Clutch A has gears 1,3, & 5, Clutch B has gears 2, 4, & 6. I've driven DSG and it's AMAZING. It's the best of both worlds. Smoother then any automatic I've driven and much faster then I could ever shift.

I actually had the privilage of driving the IS-F At the Moroso Speedway. We were allowed to drive the car very hard and well into the limits of the tires. I will say that the transmission is amazingly smooth, handles the downshifts incredibly well, and that beep only happens when you go into the redline. And I will say for sure, that car is way more capable than what you can possibly throw at it on the street! Keeping in mind factory stock, that car performed awsome on the track. There are some improvements I think for sure. I think the suspension was still a touch to soft, but body roll was surprisingly controlled very well. the sound of the motor is pure music. Man I loved that! It sooo hard for me to keep remembering I was driving a Lexus!!!!
Here's a video we shot from inside the car on one of the laps.

It was a good review, but I'm missing Top Gear around now. I know you probably posted up the youtube link for convenience, but if any of you guys want to get the actual episode in good quallity, you should head over to finalgear.com

Fifthgear also did a GTR review last week. I hope you guys caught it.

While I was at the dealership last week, there was an IS-F in the showroom. It seemed pretty sweet, and I wish I could have taken it out, but sadly didn't have the time.

And one of you guys mentioned you had a stick in your IS250. How do you like it? I've never driven a Toyota/Lexus with a stick.

Well, good for him, but the way he drove that IS-F, looked like he doesn't know what hes doing.

I agree, a Vette with stick doesn't do much for me, but I wouldn't want the auto on my MX-5 (Miata) unless I drove it in stop and go traffic most of the time (which I don't).

That's funny because that video (in a thread somewhere here) comparing 911, M3 and GT-R showed that the IS-F's chief competitor, the M3, had gobs of oversteer which made it fun but not the fastest around the track compared to the other 2 by a long shot.

I've seen the video with 911, M3 and GT-R, but it didn't have the IS-F.
