Hmm now that I've looked at some more pics, I'm actually somewhat warmed up to it to the point that it doesn't look that bad to me anymore, particularly from this angle
Unfortunately, that does not change the fact that is it another pointless xB derivative.
each day I become more & more amazed at all the time & money Toyota wastes on utter bullsh1t instead producing JUST ONE sports car in their entire f'ing lineup, grrr

hmmm maybe it's the orange paint scheme that's making it look worse than it is. In other colors like black, white, silver, or grey it might not be too bad. Imagine black with dark tints.

Still don't like it. Looks like some aftermarket tuner grafted a Chevy SSR front end and chop the roof on an xB. When I see chopped topped cars, I think American Muscle and Hotrod. I just don't see it in a Japanese econobox with no power. Remove the front fenders and chop the entire top off it kinds of looks like a Prowler. Another car which I don't really care for.
*sigh*...
It sorta looks like a chopped top hotrod, which is kinda cool but you can't mix hotrod with futuristic. Than you have things like the SSR, PT Cruiser and HHR.

After staring at it with morbid fascination for a while, I got that resemblance.......maybe it is what they were trying to do, but it resulted in an EPIC FAIL
