I actually have to agree with this, Henry. The V10 doesn't really sound good screaming until you hit the upper half of the rev counter, and how often do you get to do that? Otherwise it almost sounds like a diesel.
The AMG engine, on the other hand, sounds absolutely MEAN at all RPM. I sat next to one today in traffic, and it was IDLING, and it still sounded mean.

on the other hand i drove the e63, man that car roars at all rpm, love it

This is reason why I roll my window up when I'm next to an M5 (and porsche)
and roll my window down when I'm next to an AMG (and mustang GTs...I know I know)
