Thanks Dave. I post an answer, explain everything, apologize for Jim, and still get slammed. I will tell you, I have never seen something more ridiculous in my life. You called headstrong to my office, I step up answer, and cannot get a break. Good day and good luck with your forum.
Jooo have yer self a guudin, Ja hear!

oh that's mean, isn't it btw, where's it stated that in order to slam someone you need to have perfect english? i think only losers will try to find something else to pick on other people when they find themselves being foolish.

I have a different perspective. I would never be pretentious enough to speak for our community here but this site has many people with many different opinions. But one thing that we more than likely all respect is that people who are in business, or are trying to be in business, to make money off of what is being discussed disclose their position clearly from the outset. In that way, we can set our filters a bit differently knowing that there potentially is money to be made by someone's opinion. And that has lead to "spirited" discussions some times. I do not know exactly what this tortured alias scheme was intented to do, kudos to ChronoJ1 - he sniffed this out quickly and far better than I ever could do, but I for one am insulted by how it played out. I may not have given opinions over the years that were useful to people but they were as honest as I could make them with no hidden agenda. Whether it was about Lexus, cars in general, business, politics, or whatever. I find somehow having a poster show up and feign being a Lexus owner posting a link and an opinion on a product that he is financially associated with and not make that point to be reprehensible. I am not naive, I know it happens, but I don't have to like it or respect the small businessman perpetrating the deception because he lacks resources. While not fradulent, I definitely consider it deceptive.
Dave has quite clear ground rules for commercial advertising on the site and there are vendors who have absolutely no problem playing by the rules. And there are those of us here who are just car nuts. But we have our rules too. Once again, bravo to ChronoJ1, you quickly exposed the original post for what it was. Your filter is a helluva lot better than mine.

ding ding ding.... Wayne's IP address matches EXACTLY that of jimtaylor. Who'd have thunk it . Oh, and I see another employee has joined today "Alex IS" who also shares their IP address. She's posted as "carcrazee" in the ripoff posts linked in the thread above if she chooses to identify herself.
Please have your employee who signed up as "Alex IS" stop PMing my moderator team with insults. I'm sure you want this thread to 'go away' and when you/your employees continue this type of behaviour it only serves to drive more nails in the coffin and give it visibility.

I still find it funny how even today, when people get caught with matching IPs, and all what everyone "Should" know about how the internet works they still keep playing dumb and deny everything. Don't they wonder how other people find out so much information about them? I guess people think that the internet is really 100% anonymous.
