In my opinion the Maxima has grown far too large to be a sports car in any aspect, especially with a FWD setup.

It's the TL, it has the exact same weird-shaped tail pipes as the TL in racinstyle's link.

The shape of the trunklid is different. Also note the DST 3421 plate, which belongs to Honda (also seen here).

The tailights are so awful I could only suspect it's a Pontiac.

Looks RWD (just by design lol. It would be weird if that was FWD).

My first instinct was it's a Nissan (new Teana?). It looks quite narrow and that's quite a high liftover height.

I'm guessing its the new Q-series from Infiniti............the lines look very similar to the M-series.

Saw the same test mule today in LA. Couldn't get any pics because it was in oncoming traffic. The front didn't look all that great...the overall shape kinda reminded me of a bulky Prius.
