Awesome performance times, really great! And 17mpg city? That's better than an M3, C63, or Corvette Z06!
Are you forgetting the LF-A supercar ?

The LF-A's "unofficial" Nurburgring lap time certainly says otherwise. Let's not jump to conclusions and wait until it actually comes out.
This reminds me of the predictions people were making about the IS-F, saying how it wouldn't be able to compete with the M3, C63, or RS4 .

Earth shattering performance and 16mpg. That is astounding.
This is biggest game changer I've ever seen. I am really skeptical the LF-A
can improve upon 0-60 in 3.3s even if its rumored ring time is quite a bit better
than the GT-R's...

People jumped to negative conclusions about the IS-F, and we all know how that turned out.
Case in point, I remember before the GT-R came out all sorts of people were criticizing the GT-R saying it wouldn't be able to beat the Corvette Z06 in value or in performance. So where are all those GT-R critics now ?

In a straight line? Of course. The LF-A is obviously being geared for higher top speed in its new iteration, which is one reason its Nur time (even in fully dressed form) will approach the one we saw from its mule.
It will also be undoubtedly much more expensive, since it will have actual creature comforts up to the Lexus standard.
The real question is if the LF-A will be more fun to drive. The Skyline's history as one of the most uninvolving supercars ever made certainly indicates yes.
