Well, you COULD have done some investigating... all in the name of discovery! I mean, heck, they could have had a lounge and a couch in there!

Probably because everyone has a sweet tooth, no matter how much they may deny it.

I did not like the rations at last years TOL event.. The food offered at TOL2006 was the best

I was not even able to attend this year. I was waitlisted. How'd you get in Kev? I went the year before and it was awesome. Drove the sc convertible and pushed it. Was warned a few times by the watchers but my bro and I had alot of fun.

ya know, I didn't even have a Lexus when they sent me the invitation, I think I just requested couple brochures via Lexus.com and signed up for some news letter and they sent me the ticket to the event.

but then again, it was the weekend of thanksgiving, everyone was out of town, but still a good turn out, i get to drive the GS350 for couple rounds before the next person showed up to drive it

* I was buying the GS the month after the event, so I had to go to get the taste of lexus coupon

Thanks for posting this, I am saddened by this, but I guess I do understand from a cost and marketing standpoint. I was really hoping to have a local CL meet at the possible 2008 event in Chicago. I had a great time there. My kind of event.

I thought this years food wasn't bad at all and a step up from the year before. I liked the fact you could pick from 3 different choices, I still remember the steak being fabulous.

I don't expect buffet style portions, I am GRATEFUL for a free event of this nature that no one else really does to this extent.

Now I do agree the first couple TOL events were basically, eat/drink, do what you want but WE ALL know in business, you simply CANNOT run an event like that today.

buffet setup is a disaster. i hate to say, but there are always some people who go at buffet like they just came out of prison

Its like a free for all, especially some with kids, they go berserk. Not befitting of an upper crust pimp like myself

I thought the way with the ID card was pretty cool and high tech and it kept things orderly. The TOL has spread like wildfire, which means there are a lot of people who come for ALL the wrong reasons.
