Ahh... the good old Turtle.. my buddy got one just like that for his winter/beater car. Only option was A/C - didn't even have the passenger side outside mirror or the clock in the upper dash.
That car simply will not die! The rest of it looks pretty bad since he abused it - but who cares? I think he paid like $2800 (from a dealer) for it and got over 5 yrs out of it. After 160k + miles it still runs smoother than his sister's Escort ZX-2 with less than half the miles.

wow, even the grille is nicely finished and bright silver!
I never knew the Tercel had sealed beams for that generation. I thought it came with halogens from the get-go?
