What is the best high end, automotive magazine? The reason I ask is b/c I want to subscribe to a magazine from somewhere else other than Japan that talks about cars and gives reviews ect, ect. So any suggestions would be great.
Thanks

Consumer Reports, though not perfect, is, in general, the best source for auto reliability and all-around data, including government safety tests.
Car and Driver, IMO, is the best of the classic monthly "enthusiast" magazines. Patrick Bedard, Csaba Csere, and John Phillips do great editorials, and the magazine does routine tests of not only high-end and exotic cars but everyday cars as well....it is a good source for routine car shoppers. Like all enthusiast mags, however, they test and write from a sporting poing of view and tend to prefer cars with sporting characteristics.
Road and Track is much like Car and Driver, except that the editorals are generally not as good, and they tend to focus on exotic and ultra-high speed cars more. They do have an excellent techincal section in the back with reader input, however, unlike Car and Driver.
Autoweek is a nice magazine if you like to read an updated copy every week.
Before I started writing and posting so much in Club Lexus, Autoweek used to use a lot of comments I sent in.
And, of course, I myself do auto reviews, right here on CL.....usually by request and as I have time for it. So does 1SICKLEX, to a lesser extent.

Thanks guys, I will look into those mags.
Reading Japanese is no problem, the problem is there are too many mags to choose from.

A great free online magazine (just have to sign up), with much more extensive writeups than most of the published U.S. mags do, is Winding Road.

oh yeah, you're in Japan...
Good luck finding those "yo-sho"...the Tsutaya in Roppongi Hills had a nice selectio IIRC. For japanese magas, Carboy for mechanical/technical stuff, Car Graphics for the general more higher end, Rosso for exotics, Tipo for more vintage Euros, and RevSpeed for track driving techniques.
and +1 on windingroad.

review and testing" I will have to say: CAR magazine. European publication that is quite in depth and reviews the best cars on earth!
Best "tuner car mag": MODIFIED LUXURY & EXOTICS
I subscribe to those 2 along with Road & Track and Motor Trend
