Also, what about the ALpina B7???
Yeah, it has the highest base price, but everyone thinks that it's suposed to be a supercar... while in fact it's mediocre compared to even the aging 760.

The reason I think S8 and LS600 are the best choices is because of AWD.

A little off-topic, but Hitler never owned or drove a Maybach....the rest of the top ***** did. Hitler himself had a big Mercedes convertible.

It is still preserved today, in Paris:

I didnt even know Maybach existed back then. I though it was only a couple years old?

No. In the 1930's, the Maybach was considered the best car in the world....along with Britain's Rolls-Royce (before the British auto industry went way downhill).

Some Maybachs from that era (of the few that remain) still run perfectly, even on their original parts.

Maybach is like Bugatti. Been around so long but not in continuous production.

Oh I see... so money is tight. OK, stick with your poor man's luxury cars then.

Of the options you've given, I'd say definitely go with the LS600h.

I'm guessing you want to get him a true VIP luxury car, and you are not looking into anything faster or more sporty?

Why not ask him what he wants? If he prefers comfy luxury, get the LS. If he wants something sporty, my choice would be the S63!

Also, the S8 is a great choice. Great looking car, inside and out.

I agree. S63 or S8. If he likes the cushy ride of the LS then the LS460.

What would I want my son to buy me on my 55th birthday? Heck, get him the Audi R8, or Porsche Cayman. Its time to live life at that age
