I don't know about your dad but my dad is 58 and old fashion and if I bought him a really expensive car then he would seriously slap me because he doesnt need it and would think its a waste of money. He doesn't care about material stuff like that.

Call it old school or anything else you want, but an LS460 is a DAMN nice car to drive. If I had 70K to spend on a car (and didn't need AWD) that is probably what would be in my parking space.

The LS 600h L. While it does have 19" wheels the steering is straight lincoln town car compared to a German. It rides very very plush and IMO doesn't like to be pushed, 5000lbs has something to do with it.
I have no problem with it, I think it hits its target market perfectly. Quite frankly in a sea of sport sameness, its refreshing to be comfy.

Thanks. You sound credible. Most of the sources I have say the **** elite DID have Maybachs, but *****, of course, were notorious for propaganda. The cars you referred to were probably their official state cars; maybe they owned Maybachs privately.
Anyhow, so much for this issue.....let's get back to the best car for his 55-year old dad.
