Default This is bull hockey

Just an FYI, In Washington state, they are trying to pass a bill that will require all "high horsepower" legal road vehicles to pay a higher tax fee during renewal

Also, If your vehicle gets good gas mileage and his envioronement friendly you will get a lower tax rate during renewal. The legislation bill is in affect, thank god it didnt pass! Usually what ever gets exposure, the next year will pass it!!

Either way if you have a good fuel econonmy car or you have a high horsepower car you going to have to pay more for renewal..

just pure bullSH)))T!

it's an unfair and unreasonable tax that is more about making a political statement than actually saving the environment.

I love the NW and our unique geography but the eco-***** are beginning to get out of control.

based on the chart, every car on the road will fit into either one or the other catagory.

there is no exemption. just a lower tax rate.

GOOD.

Same should go for all gas guzzling cars like trucks and SUV's.

If they want to call the 1GS high horsepower, I'll let them take it for a drive first. For once, it looks like a state has it worse than CA.

The vehicles were already taxed at their purchase date. Its a stupid law backed by crooks who just want more money and are using the exposure of the SCAM that man-made global warming is.

Keep buying into the hype man, close your eyes to the truth. I'll be back in 5 years after a serious cooldown begins to tell everyone "I told you so" and will include the middle finger salute.

I can remember a time when Americans would have been outraged at such intrusions and screamed of "Big Brotherism". For those who haven't hung on every word in my previous posts over the years let me repeat-America has become a fascist society during just one lifetime(mine). Either change it or learn to live with it.

The real problem is that, despite a lot of hype and PC, the role of the automobile in so-called global "warming", and "greenhouse effect" has not been effectively demonstrated. There is litile doubt that climate change is occuring, but also little or no evidence that humans, industry, and cars are responsible for it.

This is simply a knee-jerk political reaction to something thay may or may not be real.
