A GX-F would be fine, IMO. The 4Runner sport isn't too bad =P KDSS is leaps and bounds more advanced than X-REAS. But having a high-powered sport-tuned SUV doesn't seem right. I guess it's just me.

I would never spend money on such thing. Maybe if I was rich and bored then why not??? Also, all of the rivals are doing it! That is a good enough reason! Lexus must stand above the rest

Kinda looks like your typical intake manifold. WTF is that thing in the middle of intake, looks like a MAF at first, but looks like theres more to it below.

If they make one for Supra. I am sure that they will make huge money because it is TRD

Nice but at the same time it looks like Toyota is only doing this to compete with the after market available for the domestic pickups

Toyota has developed Superchargers through TRD for a number of their engines over the years. The last gen 4.7L V8 also had one (although it disappeared after a while. And the 3.0 V6 also had one available.

They have such weak selection I don't even view them as a company that makes anything other then cosmetic upgrades, still very nice that they made it and all the better for the guys who want one.

My 03 V8 4Runner would have had a TRD SC but I got such a run around from Toyota and TRD that I gave up, now a 4.0 SC is coming out for the Tacoma and the 4.7 4Runner and GX still have nothing

The GX did have a TRD supercharger option awhile ago. There are a few members who have/had them. I'm sure it'll work with the 4runner too.

Actually that S/C for the 2UZ-FE 4.7L was a kit available for the Tundra only. Because the 4Runner, LC, GX and LX had the same 2UZ-FE, those who were daring enough bolted on the S/C onto their rides.

That should pass anything... except a gas station.

Wonder if the 5.7 with blower would fit under my GS hood?
If not, I'll cut a giant hole in the hood.

In Toyota reign to maximize profit they lightened up the 4.7 which made it internally weaker does not effect it in anyway except adding power, TRD did sell the SC directly for the 4Runner but quickly pulled it, to many odd and random problems

Grand Cherokee SRT8 gets 11/14, a stock 5.7 gets 14/17 or 15/19, both for the 5.7 seem high cause I don't know anyone breaking over 10mpg with normal driving in big trucks, unless it's highway.

I wonder what a dealer installed, brand new Tundra would go for, I remember seeing 3rd Gen 4Runners with SC that stickered for almost 40k and those where just nicely equipped SR5 with an original sticker of 32k, Im guessing with SC and install 5-7k more

Yea... we have one employee that has that supercharger in his house... collecting dust. He apparently has the fastest supercharged bedroom in America.

Now he knows that selling that thing and buying a new 5.7L Sequoia is the better idea
