That has to be the best detail job I have ever seen!

I too thought the pic was chrome until I saw the link pics! Shiny!

He does an absolutely amazing job..but wouldn't this be pointless because as soon as you drive your car it starts to get dirty again.

it looks like a mirror wrapped around a Benz . I know Mercedes uses ceramic clearcoat, but if the car was color sanded CAREFULLY to knock down the minor orange peel, it will look even bettert.

Must be an expensive detail job. Anyone know how much?

Some people just have extreme demand on their cars' paint. Man I don't understand how could you do detailing job on a car for 12 straight hours? My back hurts like crazy for 2-3 hours of washing and drying and polishing and waxing.

It takes some getting use to. At first, detailing will be a pain in the butt. Last time I helped my friend with his Honda Accord, we took 16 hours EACH. This was mostly due to the crazy oxidation level on his paint. Time goes by when you're detailing because you'll be spending a lot of time on each panel.

well it depends if this is a show car or not (not likely though imho). that's exactly what i tell people. if it's daily driver, there is no point to get it full mirror finish, they will end up paying a lot more and 5 mins later it's sad reality again.

i just tell them to remove 80-90% of the swirls and put on good protection. that's most reasonable for daily driver in terms of cost imho

lol, it's all about practice i guess. i used to ache after 3 hours, but now doing 8 hour is ok for me already, tired but not dead. plus they didn't say if they did it 12 hours straight i bet it's a 2 days job, makes more sense

When a foam gun is used is there no need to go over with a mitt or something?
