I WILL BE DAMNED..........
We paid all this money to have tree service cut everything down anywhere near the cars and we just get a monster storm blow through with 45 mph winds and someone's tree in the NEIGHBORS yard breaks off at the top and carries over 30 feet in the winds and smacks the Benz AND the JAG at the same time.
This was 30 minutes ago I'm still beyond fuming..... and no no one is going to pay for it, it's an open lot under a for sale sign.

Wow, sorry to hear about that. Good thing nobody was in there. I may be correct (been dealing with insurance companies for the entire month on TWO different instances) but I believe it is up to you where you want to file the claim, not them. So if you want to file with the homeowners then it is your decision. They can hash it about in arbitration without you. Generally the auto insurance will have a lower deductible.
