I just wish Toyota would use their own resources instead of having to use Subaru for the engine and awd system. I mean if Hyundai could do it why not Toyota as well.

Also, I think 2011 is way too long.

It is using its own resources. It owns a sizable portion of Subaru. The cars will have a Toyota transmission (an Aisin probably). Nothing wrong with using a proven motor. I don't understand why people are so upset; maybe its the true fanboys that have a problem with it.

What is funny, I mean hilarious is I HAD a Hyundai Scoupe Turbo. It had the quality of feces. It was awful.

This Genesis coupe really intrigues me, I NEVER thought I would ever slightly consider another Hyundai.

I really like it.

Maybe because the Toyo/Subbie is supposed to be a light weight sub 3000lb nimble little turbocharged AE86 successor while this car is a 3500lb oink oink?

I know right? Subaru EJ motor = instant aftermarket. Plus Toyo owns 15+% of Subaru's parent company......

I know right? lol

p.s. I'd prefer the Toyo to stay RWD, if anything, make the scooby awd.

It's a very broad line. Speaking from experience, the TL Type S, at 287HP is right at the upper limit of FWD HP. And Honda are masters at FWD! Sure, 300HP is possible, it's even been done before, but like I said, getting it to work well...... Scary! Anybody who's driven a new ES350 or RX350 under full acceleration in first gear knows, it's downright scary. Chrysler and Chevrolet, both, have to electronically limit HP and torque output in 1st and 2nd gears on the new Caliber SRT/8 and HHR SS. because torque steer is so out of control, it's dangerous. These cars aren't even near 300HP.

Provided they upcharge 50% the insurance premium for RWD cars for those under 25 as most of them cannot drive them properly anyhow. RWD rules, but only for those that can actually control it.

I gotta say the seats where nice and supportive and the car fit my 6'4" frame very, very nicely. I was shocked, as I don't seem to fit well in many asian automobiles. to Hyundai, looks as if this is going to be a great product for them.

BTW don't even make comments about the interior plastics as it was a pre-production model. Mmmmkay?!
