Acura must have forgot value is one of the strongest points for buying a TL. People cringe at seeing an Acura sedan over 40k, they simply jump to BMW/Benz/Lexus at that point.

Seems they are trying to do what some have speculated, move the TSX up and the TL up and maybe the RL up next go round but it just looks like a bunch of epic fail.

that's 40k fully loaded.

if they're not comfortable with fully loaded, they can go 3/4 loaded for under 40k.

Interior looks very well done. I think the exterior is going in the right direction. The CTS, TL and Maxima all look good. Can say that for the IS

With increases in costs in the past couple of years, particularly steel, but everything really, and weakened dollar, expect many brand new models to take a step up in price.

My MX-5 (Miata) has this combination. I like it.

I disagree Mike, my *1994* Legend GS sedan was 38K I think, and that's ancient history now.

Will respond to your other post on its features.

I like the Lexus IS and ES, but the TL's optional 19s, ipod integration, probably the best voice recognition around, a what, 8 inch screen makes it VERY competitive. The IS/ES interiors are nothing to write home about. This new TL has the room of the ES too.

An aftermarket grill won't help b/c IMO, the ENTIRE car is just a huge mess. Its not even adding lipstick to a pig. Its adding LIPS to a pig.
haha, well I don't like the front of it, no, but I suspect seeing it in person it will look better.

Regardless, I think it will do well.

Thanks for a FAIR look at the pros and cons, bit.

Asking 1SickLex to impartially review an Acura is like asking Obama to provide an impartial assessment of how things are going in Iraq...

i have a 2006 TL andf I like it with the fender flares. They look pretty mean when they are hooked up. Like our Gs's, the cars look weak stock.

i haven't seen a car that i like "in person", which i already dislike in the pictures.
i just dont' understand that idea.

when you stand 30 feet away from the car, you're still gonna see the same ugliness as the camera does
