It looks to be a outstanding performance sedan and beating all those powerful top Euro/Japanese rwd/awd sports sedans around the track is amazing especially with the 6speed TL being a pre production model and not yet fully tuned and tested and some of those sports sedans had more hp, more torque, bigger engines, and were lighter. The reviewers were extremely impressed by it and I hope Acura brings it to production but it does seem a little big and a bit too luxurious to be had with a normal manual transmission, I would rather have seen some kind of amazing DSG type transmission to be offered with the new TL as I think that fits it a little better. Honda/Acura certainly know how to do fantastic manual transmissions and it clearly shows in this model as well as others.
Honda/Acura manuals have always been some of the best in the business.

It would look better without the "Pimp My Ride" wheels.

The ugly rims are skewing the looks

It's better for sure. My eyes aren't hurting as much.

I'll take the older TL A-Spec instead...

i don't like dealers who force you to buy their ugly wheels.

Here is another dealer-modified TL done by Acura of Reno. Pics were posted over in the 4th Gen TL forum at Acurazine.

I agree that the paint job only minimizes the true offensiveness of the grille. But the grille is just one of the issues I have with what must be one of the most undignified looking premium cars available today.

The garden from which so many (bad) ideas have been plucked.

And the sad thing is all these pics show cars with big wheels. Just imagine the stock cars with 17" wheels with the wheel gap of a 96 Maxima or AWD GS.
Scary....

I mean the 3rd gen TL still looks good today. Might turn into a timeless car. I admit to looking at them in parking lots or on the street. Some guys drop them and mod them very tastefully and it just looks smoking.

i am thinking, if even dealerships are making these changes themselves already, does that mean they also think the grilles are totally awful?
