very polarizing... love it or hate it design... i love it, better than most lamo Lexo cars IMO... especailly the rival ES350 <== very lame design (but still a good car)...

Definitely help a bit when painting the front end.
Is it me, I just do not see how it resemble a Camry like other see it.
And I agree with very controversy styling. Hate it or love it. Similar with what Bangle did to BMW, with the hate it or love it design. People will definitely still buy this car but with the economy everyone is hurting so sale number will not be expected. Same can be said to any manufactuing whether it's bmw, merc, lexus, audi or infiniti introduction any cars at this point, sale will be not be expected. Like I said stying is very controversy, but to link that to the new TL not selling well in this economy is just silly.

hmmm .. actually, no. I seen worse. I believe the rear got good review from magazine. Forgot which one though. Also I actually do not mind the rear that much, it's the front that's controversy

i went and test drove one recently......not too bad, the new technology stuff is real nice. i like the styling, i might be the only one, but i do like it. i wonder though how many they will sell since it seems like most people dont like the way it looks. well actually sales guy admitted how may they have sold since they got it in about a month ago and its been pretty low so far...

Paul, you are stretching...outside of the roofline the 3GS is far more of a cohesive effort, its not even close (and I'm not even totally head over heels over the 3GS).
Two, the GS was featured in two prominant design anaylsis's, Robert Cumberford and Del Coates, no other sedan has that priviledge. Finally, the 3GS won a European design award.
The 3GS might not be perfect but it embaresses the TL in the looks department.
