This was my first video from Jay Leno's garage, and he doesn't seem to make a good automotive journalist. He made a major boo boo saying Nürnburgring instead of Nürburgring.

This car should be one with an interchangable body. Like it would just be amazing. Performance wise its a technological achievement. 480hp from a bi-turbo v6, but it's awd so you get all of those horsies. its unreal. can't wait to test drive one my self.

That's all you have to say to such a great video?

Anyway, loved it, love that car... man, that must win car of the year everywhere when it finally ships... just incredible.

I still don't understand why it is compared to the the bugatti? I think this is what Jay said " I have driven the buggatti veyron and this car has the same feel... with a lot less power." To me, that is like saying that a fiat bravo has the same feel of a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano... without the horsepower.

Anyway, I liked the way Jay presented the car otherwise.

I think he was commenting on the instant thrust you feel when you hit the gas.

He's not the first guy to compare it to a Bugatti... A couple of other
publications have done it. The word efforless has also been thrown around
a lot and if the GT-R rides anything like it does in GT5-P it's an insane rocket
ship

I feel your pain, but don't worry, I hear that a GT-R knockoff is in the works at Toyota. Best part is, it's part of their short term plan. And that means it might happen sometime in our life time.

No he was commenting on all the electronics and just needing to stomp it to go fast with no tricky manual tranny or anything, much like the Veyron which of course is much bigger and more powerful.

That the two cars are mentioned by a well known die hard and knowledgeable car enthusiast is great praise for Nissan.

This car is a winner in every way. The people who should be concerned are its target - PORSCHE. I'd take the GT-R over a 997 turbo every time. And the GT-R is probably at least 1/3 less expensive even with markups.
