Motor Trend reviews the 2009 BMW X6: Perfectly pointless
#46
I actually like the looks of it. I looked at one briefly the day I reviewed the M3, though I didn't test-drive it.....the M3 review, of course, came first. Granted, it doesn't have the interior space efficiency of the X3/X5....the roof is too low and too sloped for that. But it DOES, IMO, combine good looks with AWD/all-weather capability, high ground clearance, and (assumingly) BMW steering and chassis sophistication....and, at least according to Motor Trend (who has driven it), a better ride than the X3/X5. If it wasn't for the fact that it was introduced at the wrong time (with $4.00-plus premium gas and a 4800 lb.weight) BMW would really have something here.

They need to lower it a bit. Seriously, I'd like to see what the aftermarket does with this car. I lowered my RX330 and thought it looks and handled much better. I think the X6 will look nice lowered about 2-3".
