335i's interior sucks. I have to have navigation as you can notice in my previous two cars too. BMW's iDrive Navigation is a big turn off for me. I love the BMW, I think they are great, but i cant live without navigation, at the same time, I cant live with its navigation system. I wanted to get an Audi, but the A5 does not have enough power, and a loaded S5 is over my budget. Plus, not any close segment competitor can beat G's exhaust sound. I'm still a kid inside, love that exhaust note.

Congrats on your purchase and I understand the trade, whether called downgrade or upgrade or speedgrade, whatever!!!

I am 27 and sometimes feel the GS is too old for me, but as my wife who loves the car, it works.

As for the Infiniti exhaust note, the best on factory!!!

But it's an upgrade in handling and performance, which is exactly what he wanted so it's a win-situation for him.

I would have gotten a 335i myself, but those things are thousands more than a comparable G37. Not to mention, I think the Infiniti interior is nicer than the BMW when it comes to luxury. The BMW is too focused on performance and simplicity.

congrats -- yep you take a hit on the $$ but what the hell - you only live once why keep a car you don't like.
did the same thing with my IS350, fast but boring, blah handling....if they had a IS coupe, I'd have got one of those, dumped it for a TT 2.0T -- much more fun to drive and look at....plus I see soooooooooooooo many IS's now.

The new G35/37 id s great car. infiniti has stepped up their game with these cars. I would call the interiors a wash between them and Lexus right now. I loved the interior fit and feel of the 07 G35 I drove and almost traded in my LS400 for one. I thought it was that good. Congrats on the new G37. That is a nice looking coupe. I personally think Infiniti has got it together right now.

I don't think your driving it right if the interior is bothering you, my friend just picked up a loaded 328xi and I can't remember what the dash looks like

I disagree.
You have to check it out the new infiniti for yourself. Maybe the old models' interior weren't as great, but the new ones
One thing about bmw is their interior which I can't stand, but I love the 7's interior(go figure ).

Regarding badge recognition, that's up to the person getting the car.

When were test driving it, it was well balanced with luxury AND performance
The only thing was they didn't budge much on the price when it barely came out, even with a hookup.
Too bad lexus doesn't have a coupe like this.

Congrats on the new G

Let's keep it at performance
There's nothing simple about bmw, unless you mean plain looking
