What do you NOT like about Lexus?
It goes without saying that most here are very passionate about Lexus. Lord knows they are a company that does almost everything right.
But here is an opportunity to sound off about what you wish they would do, or did more of, or stop doing or do less of. Keep it constructive but candid and honest.

Bring back the ride and interior quality of past Lexus designs. Their newer products have been cheapened inside too much and the suspension/tires are too stiff. Keep the stiff IS-F for the sport sedan/performace enthusiasts. but other Lexus products should be like LEXUSes, not BMWs.
Redesign the SC430 and make it look a little more like the original SC instead of an Audi TT.
And especially, bring back the old ES330...the ES350, IMO, is a big disappointment.

Fewer packages and more options so i can more custom taylor the car to my personal preferences. Offer at least another car with manual tranny. Offer a special order program so that people can custom order there cars. A japanese delivery to rival BMW and benz with the european delivery. Offer a real driving scholl for enthusiast customers.

That is my list as well, and I'll add:
-No fixed roof coupe
-Too many options jumbled into larger packages which force you to get options you may not want in order to get option you do want.
-Lack of manual transmissions in all but the IS250. Or, if you don't believe in manual transmissions, at least offer a real DSG transmission.

My complaints were all covered in the first few posts, which is pretty amazing. Shows some like-mindedness among Lexus fans. Among my top complaints are lack of a fixed-roof coupe. I would also like said coupe to be a 2-seater, not a 2+2. I suppose the LF-A will fit this, but I'd like to see something at the consumer level.
I also would like nav to be usable while driving, and some type of mp3 player-compatible connection.
However, I will echo mmarshall's point that stiff suspension, and perhaps even handling and steering feel, should be limited to Lexus' performance models. One of the most enjoyable features of my LS430 is that it is actually disconnected from the road.

hmm...i pretty much like what they are doing now, even with the new ES. lol
they could:
1) make the nav screen usable when driving
2) more interior colors/wood options
3) leave the toyota parts for the corolla
4) make a bigger separation from toyota on options
5) ipod integration into the stereo and accessible via buttons on the steering wheel

I'm one of those who doesn't believe it's going to happen.
What do I not like......coupes, coupes and coupes.
I'm a coupe man. Lexus only has the SC430 and it was too small inside for me. Lexus needs a small, medium and large coupe.
An IS type coupe is a no brainer but I'd also like to see a GS and LS sized coupe. That's overkill.....at least a GS sized coupe and I'd never, ever leave Lexus.

1. Hybrids that focus on fuel economy and not performance
2. Offering a 4 cylinder for the IS, ES, & GS models
3. Offering a V6 for the LS
4. EV versions across the board
5. A redesigned SC, with a V6 option
6. Hybrid ES (what is taking them so long? this would clearly be one of their best sellers)
