For real? I've done that a few times in my Supra. That's not "nearly crashes" that's just a little wake up call.

I've seen this already on 2 other forums.

It DID NOT almost crash, it was an AWD 997 TURBO having some fun.

Yes AWD. The car easily regained control. Sigh.....

Dunno. I bet the driver had to extract some leather from his behind after that one. While it wasn't a disaster, it was a good twitch with some pretty powerful pucker factor.

If he is a skilled driver, he knows that engine is in the rear and the road looked wet and he could have some fun in front of people and the AWD system would just save his behind.

That seal gray color is sinister!!!

Um, the last thing you do in that situation is brake.

I dont get how that wasnt a close call, when he first counter steer to the left he was heading towards the on comming traffic and came pretty damn close to t-boning them if they slowed down to look at all the porsches (which I would of done).

If thats having fun, no wonder so many supercars are wrecked, doing that in a 2 lane road with on coming traffic is Even if you are skilled you cant 100% account for the other cars on the road

I think he was trying to have fun, but it didn't go exactly according to plan. There was a moment of lost control!

If you are having fun you stay in your own lane when you've got oncoming traffic. His hands (brain?) were way too slow to react after his initial countersteer. IMO.

Braking would be an ultimate failiure. Just let off the gas completely and you would gain traction alot faster.

It does NOT look like he is having some fun at all. He probably sweat his ***** and puked after that. I know I would.
