What exactly does FTL mean? forgive me for not being up to date on my internet lingo.
And secondly, what happened to the days when all cars could get love on CL?
and as far as Rice, Rice is defined as all show and no go, and i can plainly point out this car is both. oh and to add to that, AT LEAST THE KIT ISNT ON THE CAR UNPAINTED!
but here is the mod list, as you requested...nearly all of the internals have been custom made.
2002 Escort ZX-2
Engine: 2.0L (+0.30) DOHC w/Variable Cam Timing
K&N Typhoon intake, Ported and Polished head with 5 angle valve job, Brembo Ventilated Front Rotors with Protech pads and shoes in rear, Steel Headgasket, 13.51 C/R Forged (CUSTOM) pistons, rings and connecting rods. Clevite 77 Con-Rod bearings, custom exhaust piping with Borla Muffler, 4-2-1 Header, Superchip, Adjustable Cam Gears, Quaife LSD, CenterForce Clutch (Spec II), Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel, MX Polyurethane Transaxle Mounts, Transaxle rebuilt with steel synchronizers/forks (replaced the brass ones) etc...
JL Audio 10W3v2.4 10" D4 Subwoofer, Elemental Designs slot-ported Enclosure, Kenwood KAC-7202 Amplifier, Kenwood KDC-1028 HU, 2 Apline Type S Co-ax 6.5's in front, 4 Alpine Type S Co-ax 5x7's in rear, Llumar High Performance Window Tint, 5% rear, 20% front, 17x7.5 Drag DR-11 Wheels (gunmetal with stainless lip) 225/40/ZR17 Falken Ziex ZE512's, 4300K HID P&P kit, ViS Racing Carbon Fiber cowl Hood, KGS Engineering body kit (not installed).
the audio has changed a bit, we have removed the back seat and installed a dead wall with a new 12" PowerAkoustik 12" sub centered, in place of the seat back, the deck has changed, as have the amplifiers. there is a 12" fusion in there to add bass till my brother gets the system he wants in there. the PA is enough for my tastes, but he wants more.

First, thanks for serving our country
But onto the car....just dont expect to get any love on a modded Ford Escort on ClubLexus. Its not a car 99.9% of the people on here care to see anything about, even a modified one. Why so much work into the engine without any forced induction? Doesnt make sense to me. The car doesnt have rear disc brakes? You have to be kidding me! I could go on and on....but as long as you/your brother are happy thats all that matters I guess.

I definitely have a lot of respect for all the work you've put in. That said, why not begin from a better starting point? Surely a Mustang or something along those lines would have been an easier/cheaper/better looking platform to start with than an Escort? Especially since it doesn't seem like you needed the rear seat room. If modding's your thing, there are surely more options for modifying a 'Stang
Again, I'm not trying to disrespect the car or your work in any way, but whenever i see an econobox with a ton of mods, I always wonder if the owner wouldn't have been better served by buying a car more geared towards performance in the first place. That's just my opinion though, and it takes all kinds to make the world go 'round. If everybody thought like me we would all be driving 'Vettes

As for the ZX2, Do what ya'll wish with it. Seems like a waste of money on that particular car. Only Ford I would ever consider modifying would be the oldschool 6X's Stangs. But it is ya'lls car, so good luck, and looking somewhat forward to seeing the results.
