A friend of mine who lives in Hawaii bikes to work. Imagine all the gas and insurance money he saves, despite the relatively lower wage. The maintence fee? He has to worry about inflate the bike and change several back seats a year.

Just to work and back, about 16 miles. But then again that is in a company van. I dont have to pay for the gas.
The LS stays in the garage all week long and never gets driven. It might get roughly 50 or so miles on a typical weekend.
