Default 1/4 mile times for an IS-F

What is the best times you have "heard" and "seen" for one of these cars? I posted a thread in the IS-F area and only one person responded over a couple days. Are there not enough people taking the car to the tracks? What is the deal? The dealership only quoted me a 13.0 in the 1/4 mile. I thought that was pretty bad when I heard that. All that hp and tq and it can't break 12's in stock form?

It can definitely break 12's. The people over at R&T got the IS-F down the 1/4 mile in 12.6 @ 113.8mph.

Check out the drag strip journal in my signature. I have IS-F's listed and there are several running 12's.

If you got a 12.844 in a IS350 than you are doing some wonderful things to that car. Stripping it of weight is the first thing I notice everyone doing. I don't agree with it unless it is longterm weight loss. In other words if you pull something and put it back in for the drive home than it really doesn't say how fast your DD goes. It says how fast a stripped version of it can go. In all my driving of my IS350 I was not impressed by its initial launch power overall. It would have been great to get a nice 6MT in there that is worth a sh#t. I love that about my new car. Having a stick is well worth the switch. Lexus needs to learn that sporty means 3 pedals or at least the option for them. It is much more fun driving the car this way.

The 12.84 was done in very very ideal weather conditions. 35F and a high barometer to start. That along with the few mods and R tires of shorter diameter gave me the 12 second run. Had an IS-F been there I can almost guarantee it would have run a 12.4 or better. When the cooler weather arrives back in the fall we will certainly see some better times in the IS-F.

Since I am new to the 1/4 mile track times, what is considered ideal conditions for running your car? I live in Vegas so we are 2200' above sea level and we are extremely hot all the time.
