Wonder if that's the same process that was used by the factory on the side windows of my '04 RX 330? Although I still use Rain-X on all the windows, that side glass still beads up water long after the windshield treatment is gone.

Haven't had it done to my personal car but worked for a dealership that applied it to many vehicles. It did indeed work. One coworker did it to his car and a year later it was still on his car ( thouh I don't know how its holding up currently since that was 4 years ago). I would recommend doing it elsewhere than a dealership where they charge an arm and leg. And yes the process is long which requires a trained technician and chemicals that are highly dangerous if breathed.
