Actually it has been an option on BMWs for at least two years I think.
The difference I believe is that the Lexus version will show you the screen right in front of you where your instrument panel is - but it does it based on perceived need. At least that's what I gather from this thread.

or is there an BMW with LCD screen instead of instrument cluster where you can see camera from front of the car?

Its in the I-Drive screen. Not the best location for it of course.
