With that power it will definately be on close to the GT-R/Z06 powerwise. It will probably beat the IS-F ,335 and give the M3 a run for it's money. But you're right only true subie enthusiasts will probably pay more than $40K and the haters will come and say it's just a "subaru"

More like the XF resembles the Legacy, as that generation Legacy pictured came to market LONG before the XF did.
The XF resembles not just that, but many other cars. The problem with the XF is that its headlights are very generically styled, and resemble several Korean and Japanese cars.

I always thought and hoped they would turbo their flat six and make some serious horsepower especially after seeing that B11S concept.
Now all they have to do is put it in a 2 door sleek sports car/coupe instead of a wagon. I would much rather have a sports car with a twin turbo flat six then some wagon. At least make it into a proper sports sedan. This would be the perfect powerplant for a new SVX. The original SVX should have had a turbo option as well as a manual option, it certainly would have sold better if it did.

I would say it is a great bargain if it starts at $39,000 and reaches fully loaded at $45000, considering the other 400+hp supersedans starting at mid 50s. I would like to see it go head to head against GT-R, IS-F, M3 sedan and GT3.

What would be nice is since Subaru is working with Toyota they should put this powerplant in a new 6MT Toyota Sports Car *cough* Supra if and when they ever bring it back. Make it 3500lbs max with this powerplant and price it no more than $50K and I think they will have a GT-R competitor.
