It is such a huge downgrade from the previous gen it's not even funny. It feels like a half done vehicle, and the words of this designer explains it...the accountants won every battle, and it plays out not only in how the suv looks, but feels.

And one more thing, this new body style is actually more aerodynamic than the previous model.
American Honda screws their customers over - honda.jp shows the Civic, the American Accord(known as the Inspire), Euro Accord(aka TSX) come with more goodies than their US counterparts - you can get a fully-optioned Civic with push-button start, HIDs, Honda's version of Pre-Collision System, Alcantara microfiber interior, and even the same engine as the Si. And there's the Type R/Type RR as well.

IMO, the Pilot/RidgeLine looks a 100x better with a different grille.

The Gen Pilot still doesn't grow on me.

This new gen Pilot does look a lot better on the road then in pictures. Although, as others have mentioned, they could have done some things better I'd have to say yes its grown on me.

yeah. looks like a jeep............ that a 3rd grader drew up.

the number crunchers won out because they didn't have to pay a real designer to design the thing

This is like the new Chris Bangle of Honda/Acura design. Honda had some pretty sleek designs until lately.
