Even the Civics and Scions have these side blinkers. Lexus should've put them on the 06 GS' when they came out with the new body style. At least the 08 GS have them and not any other Lexus. I must say tho, the Lexus side blinkers are the nicest I've seen.

I was surprised. After I spanked him for the insult to the GS... jk

I thought it was neat that while he wasn't familiar with either car and they don't really look alike, he caught some glint of a line that had family resemblance.

way to go on that spanking.

america does not spank the kids enough.

I'll take a pass on the new maxiama. In fact, I'll take a pass on the blinkers as well... the rice boys came out with that in the early 1990s.

I love the 08 side mirror signals and I'm going to find a way to get it on my 06.

I love the 09 Maxima, it attracted my attention at the first glance. The profile is similar to the latest Camry which is a good thing.

Without driving the 09 Maxima, the only thing I don't like is headlight but then it is an easy fix... just tape off that extra part of headlights with a dark film.

The interior is also a big plus, nothing wrong to be Infiniti like. For $35K+, I will buy this stylish car assuming the driving dynamic is still better than the Avalon.

Is it just me or does it look like the front bumper is just one solid integrated piece all the way back to the A-pillars and front doors? The quarter panels appear to have to separation from the bumper. Maybe the seam is just very tiny and we can't see it in the pics but the gap between the hood and bumper/quarter panels looks unnaturally wide.

Is it just me, or is the 09 Maxima starting to have some style influences from Infiniti? In slightly reminds me of the old Q45, although I know it doesn't exactly look like it. Overall I like the new Maxima. It would make a good DD.

Looks like nissan and Renault are getting even closer with thier designs..(Tiida and Megane/clio, Note and Modus, etc etc)

this looks like it has some of the lines of a new laguna gt (and i dont know if thats a good thing)

However, many cars look better in person than they do on photographs (can be said for french cars)

note the flattened out nose.. i wonder if they share the same platform??

this renault has got a hot new aws system

Looks great but has one major drawback: It's FWD. No fun for spirited driving. Even taking turns a little bit spirited is spoiled with too much weight up front.

Looks like surprisingly good wheel fitment for a FWD sedan.

Love the rear LED tail lights shown on that white one.

At least the Maxima doesn't have a cassette player.
