Am I the only one who thinks the current C350 isn't underpowered? It's only "underpowered" on paper compared to the competition but it's also faster than the more powerful Cadillac CTS for example. The 7Gtronic automatic transmission makes up for the "lack of horsepower" although the '350 is a very torquey engine too. Torque is essential for spirited acceleration.

Either way a new engine would be good for the sake of looking good on paper and satisfying clueless consumers who don't see past horsepower numbers.
