I guess they all figure they can sell a lot the first year just with the new design alone, & then keep sales up with the upgraded engines for subsequent years ...

Good you added the "relatively speaking of course". Virtually none of the buyers will ever use, or need, the full performance of the Audi A4 3.2 Quattro, even most of us in the CL-crowd.

I think the Audi looks soooooooooo much better....just needs an engine upgrade, I guess for 2010.
oh......and the LED DRL's kill the BMW yellow angel eyes.

Am I the only one who thinks the current C350 isn't underpowered? It's only "underpowered" on paper compared to the competition but it's also faster than the more powerful Cadillac CTS. The 7Gtronic automatic transmission makes up for the "lack of horsepower" although the '350 is a very torquey engine too. Torque is essential for spirited acceleration.
