No, lexus here is trying to keep the IS-F "relatively" exlcusive. In other words they don't want the resale value to go down.

As for the destination charge, there is none. But that is not all good b\c we have a "recylcling" fee. Call it what you want, the government just wants money.

personally, the C63 is more attactive to me. its is very aggressive without being overdone. the IS-F, while attactive, just seems like its too much.

performance, both will be well received by tuners. but you better be willing to pay a pretty penny. there are tuners in Cali that are boosting the C63. both stock are more than enough for the road. just dont expect to spank EVERYone.
Unfortunately I don't live in Cali. But there are plenty of tuners here in Japan.

I don't like the M3, I would prefer the M5 and I would get an M5 if parking wasn't so tight were I am.

I changed that above for you and I would add
Engine note: C63>IS-F.

I simply couldn't live with the interior of the C63 though.

I agree on the interior of the C63, but everything else is beastly!

Since you have driven both, why not list the pro and cons of both and see what you like about both and see what you see yourself in

Well, as an owner of a W204 C class I can tell you folks that the interior is just fine. It's a quality interior. The build quality feels top notch and the materials are no different than what the Audi A4 or Lexus IS use.

The thing that makes a difference is "presentation" and both the Audi A4 and Lexus IS interior don't look so bland or plain compared to the C class through use of "colorful" materials (chrome imitating plastic etc. or real chrome here and there...).

On the other hand, the door design of the W204 C class is awesome - and that of the IS is bland. The C class door design looks classy and elegant while that of the IS looks uninspired and plasticky too. See what I mean?

So to me it all comes down to presentation. The C class interior is visually not was well presented as some of its rivals. At the same time there are aspects of the C class cabin that are done better than that of the competition.

The doors on the C63 AMG can support the weight of a 200lb human being. Amazing demonstration of the tank like build quality. Both IS-F & C63 suffer from severe oversteer.. I can't get over the brute force of the big block V8 of the C63AMG along with the Benz AMG heritage. C63 AMG hands down buddy!

C63 all the way..once my lease is up on my GS next year I will be looking into getting into a C63 myself too!

You can get the Sierra Beige interior and to me it looks as nice as the IS-F interior!

I love th feel of both cars and the the looks are different and have their own plus and minuses. I have to say the exhaust note on the C63 is the nicest, but I am sure the IS-F can be changed to suit. I am just sick of waiting, I could handle the 12 month wait , but it looks like it could end up being 18 months. So by the time I get the IS-F the new model will be out!

The IS-F, because in comparison to the C63 and even the M3, the IS-F doesnt guzzle fuel.

If I am giving a chance for the C63 over IS-F, I would seriously consider for a M3. I have heard way too many bad things about the high performance Benz...
