So i saw a brand new toyota highlander hybrid on the freeway today. but it was a cop car. Ive never seen one of these before and im guessing the police are tryin to do the whole hybrid thing too.

has anyone else seen police start using hybrids?

In Toronto, there are several 1G HiHys fully equipped with radio and lights for the Fire Department.


There are several campuses around the States using Priuses as patrol vehicles.


Vancouver and Toronto uses diesel smarts for parking enforcements. Toronto goes further with a few 2G Civic Hybrids.

what police dept does that the Highlander belong to? I can't tell which one. Looks like you were headed west on the 10 freeway right past Forest Lawn Covina, past Kellogg Hill and Cal Poly.

yeah.. I noticed SFU parking officers are more **** than UBC ones. I parked in front of the EOS building without getting a ticket (it's a pedestrian/road thing lol. ... you normally wouldn't go there but i do it anyway. it's still a road.)
