The original V6's versions had the same pork and were gutless as a result, like the crappy early Toureg V6 version. These could not afford the pork.

Exactly, cars have a purpose. And getting off the fat *** for shorter walkable distances has benefits too.

Not to mention more expensive. While the features and options are nice, a car with all the "luxury" stuff isn't luxurious if the interior is covered in cheap looking and feeling plastic.
